Air NEw Zealand is a great airline from AUS to the USA. to Asia try Thai Airways or Cathay Pacific.

well if you enjoyed your previous adventures with the carriers you listed, then my advice would be to look into those airlines again. After all, SIngapore Airlines did win the 2007 Airline of the year.
But I would also look into other carriers. Air Travle in Asia is a very big business now, bigger than some people think. There is a new little rivalry nearly everyday.
As someone said above, Thai and Cathay Pacific do offer another brand of exelent service. But also look into Emirates, Air China and maybe even Qantas (although Qantas has some exelent flights and also some woeful ones too)
To the US, dont fly Qantas. Did you know that Qantas 747’s have an extra SIX ROWS OF SEATING??? I would look at either Air New Zealand or United Airlines. And even look at what I call the Canadian option by flying through Canada (Vancouver) with Air Canada.
If your after reviews, I go to one website and that is the Skytrax website. Skytrax is the official world airline and airport review organisation and the ones that hand out the awards. their website is http://www.airlinequality.com
all I can say is research. go to that website I gave you, see what you like and what you dont, do some research into airlines, go to a travel agent and talk to them then either book through the travel agent or on the official airline website.
good luck and enjoy your travels

I travel between these countries often, I have always found Cathay Pacific to be excellent

You can’t go wrong with SIA. They have awesome service. Cathay Pacific is also really good and so is Qantas. You could fly either of those airlines within Asia.
For flights between the US and AUS, Air New Zealand is a really good airline and so is Qantas. United flies from Sydney to Los Angeles and San Francisco but I would prefer a foreign carrier. You can also fly Singapore Airlines from AUS with a stopover in Singapore and then onto New York.
I would recommend that you stick to 1 carrier and try to rack up as many frequent flier miles as possible. If you fly Singapore Airlines, they are part of the Star Alliance so if you fly United from AUS to USA, you can earn Singapore Airline miles.
